KB - Nagesh duo
One another week-end for me at my home town. As expected, I was watching TV. Keep on changing the channels, waiting to stop at one, which attracts me. Yes. Got it. Punniyam goes to my local cablewala. "Ethir Neechal" on the screen.

Always KB impress me with his characterisation and story narration. He believes his characters and not anything else. We can never say why this character has come? He just rocks with the so called character 'Irumal Thatha'. Narrated this character only with a lightly opened door, a written name and a 'lok, lok' voice. The entire movie, except one scene, were on the indoor, with only one 'Ondi Kudithanam' set. This tells, the confidence in him about his characters and story. Maadi Padi Madhu (Nagesh), explodes the legendry act. A perfect cocktail of sogam plus humour.

It's true, KB is really a 'Sigaram' of directors.

True. I had always thought how could someone create a character that has nothing but voice.

Ethir Neechal is a true classic and will stand the tide of times.

BTW, wanted to know, have you tasted cocktails ;-)
